App shows blank/white screen

The Electron renderer failed to load.

1. Close Alt Central completely

2. Delete %APPDATA%/Alt Central Alting Manager/Cache

3. Relaunch

"Backend not responding"

backend.exe crashed or was blocked.

1. Check if Windows Defender quarantined it

2. Run Alt Central as administrator

3. Check Task Manager for backend.exe — if missing, Python backend failed to start

License won't validate

• Check internet connection

• Make sure license key is copied exactly (no spaces)

• If you changed PCs, HWID changed — contact staff for reset

• Check Supabase status in the app's bottom status bar

Accounts show "Loading..." forever

Can't fetch account info from Roblox.

1. Check internet connection

2. Roblox API might be down — check status.roblox.com

3. Run Health Check to force refresh

4. Cookie may be invalid but not returning a clean 401

Settings don't save

Settings are in localStorage. If resetting every launch:

1. Make sure you're not in incognito mode

2. Check the app has write access to its data directory

3. Click any toggle — settings auto-save on every change

Discord RPC not showing

1. Check Discord desktop app is running (not web)

2. Toggle RPC off and on in Settings

3. Make sure "Display currently running activity" is enabled in Discord settings

Auto-alt deploys too many / too few

1. Verify PRC API key is valid and connected

2. Check that deploy threshold is set correctly

3. PRC player list is the source of truth — if PRC doesn't see your alts, they're not in the server

4. Increase check interval to 30+ seconds if getting double-deploys
