Download & Install

Purchase a License

Visit uhfidlerinternational.com/altingcentralmanager and complete your purchase via Stripe (USD) or Robux payment.

Download the Installer

After purchase, you'll receive a download link via Discord DM. Download Alt Central Alting Manager Setup.exe.

Run the Installer

Double-click the setup file. Choose your install location (default recommended) and click Install.

Activate Your License

Launch Alt Central and enter your license key on the login screen. The app binds to your hardware ID (HWID) — each license works on one PC at a time.

Windows Defender

Windows Defender may flag backend.exe as a false positive because it's compiled with PyInstaller. Alt Central attempts to add an exclusion automatically on first run.

If you get a quarantine warning:

1. Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection

2. Click Protection history

3. Find backend.exe and click Allow on device

4. Or add the entire Alt Central folder to exclusions manually

Updating

Alt Central checks for updates automatically on startup. When an update is available:

• A green "UPDATE AVAILABLE" banner appears at the top of the app

• Click Download to get the new installer

• Run the installer — it updates in place without losing your accounts or settings

Staff can force-push updates via Management → Announcements → Force Update, which sends a notification to all users.

Uninstalling

Use Add or Remove Programs in Windows Settings, or run the uninstaller from the Alt Central folder.

Your accounts are stored in localStorage. Use Settings → Backup → Export before uninstalling to save your cookie data. Reinstalling to a different location without a backup may result in lost accounts.
